Why do they keep recording Hrusa? He's just so boring!

I sure wish Pentatone (and now Tudor) would give it a rest with this conductor. Oh I know he's the Bamberg's new hottie on the podium. Eye-catching he may be, but musically, he's such a boring conductor. Routine, pedestrian, ho-hum readings, peculiarly predominated by consistently slow tempos, just keep coming.

And now - NOW - they're letting him RE-record stuff he's already recorded. He had just recorded Ma Vlast for Supraphon in 2010. And here he records it again for Tudor. (At least Pentatone had the good sense to say, no, enough is enough.) Does anyone really think this unimaginative conductor's interpretation has changed all that much in just 6 years?

I've got news for all involved: it isn't going to get any more exciting the more often he records it. Just give it a rest already.
